Fair trade regulator CCI has approved the proposed merger deal involving Azure Hospitality, which runs the popular Mamagoto and other restaurants, and three other companies.
In a tweet today, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) said that it has approved "merger of Azure Hospitality with Akira Marketing, Mama Catering and Claridges Hospitality".
Azure Hospitality operates restaurant brands such as Mamagoto, Speedy Chow, Rollmaal, Sly Stories, Sly Granny, Sly Tech and Mamapaati.
Claridges Hospitality is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Azure and is engaged into restaurants business under the brand name Dhaba by Claridges.
Akira Marketing is the holding company of Mama Catering, which is into the business of providing catering services in India.
