A Delhi-based NGO today handed over relief material including fast-aid tools to the Nepalese Embassy for those affected in the recent earthquake.

NGO Delhi Study Group, headed by senior BJP leader Vijay Jolly, gathered the relief material over a two-day-long drive in the national capital.

"It's aimed at strengthening the ties between the two countries and to deepen people-to-people contact by standing with the Nepalese population in this hour of crisis," he said.

Around 50 tarpaulins, 100 tents, 10,000 face masks, 500 blankets, 2,000 sterilised cotton rolls and warm clothes for children and youth have been collected in this connection.

Acording to Jolly, these items were collected in the first phase of the drive and more material is likely to be sent in the near future.
