A local court today sentenced a drug peddler to 10 years in jail.
Additional Sessions Judge, Fatehgarh Sahib, also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on Jaswinder Singh, saying that in case of default of payment he will have to serve one more year in prison.
Singh was arrested on March 18, 2011 with 1.880 kg narcotic powder. A case against him was registered at Mandi Gobindgarh police station, sources said.
