Dry weather in UP, Etawah sizzles at 42.2 deg C

Weather remained dry in parts of Uttar Pradesh with Etawah being the hottest place in the state at a maximum temperature of 42.2 degrees Celsius.

Day temperatures remained normal throughout the state, the MeT Department here said.

Night temperature fell appreciably in Gorakhpur and was below normal Varanasi, it said.

The weatherman has predicted rain/thundershowers and thunderstorms with gusty winds very likely at isolated places over the state for tomorrow and the day after.
