Duo arrested with heroin in Jammu

Two persons were today arrested and 40 gm heroin seized from their possession, police said.

A vehicle was intercepted by a police party near Shastri Nagar and during frisking of the driver Sarjeevan Singh and co-passenger Ratan Lal, 40 gm of heroin was seized from them, a police officer said.

Both of them were arrested on the spot and the vehicle was impounded, she said.
