Empty wagons of goods train derail in UP

Four empty wagons of a goods train derailed between Sitapur and and Roja today, affecting passenger train services, officials said.

According to the sub-divisional magistrate of Maholi, B P Singh, the goods train was heading towards Roja from Sitapur.

The track is blocked and some passenger trains have got stuck, railway officials who reached the spot said, adding the priority is to clear the track at the earliest so that rail traffic can resume.
