Entry of unauthorised people to be barred in medical college

Chief Minister Raghubar Das today ordered the health officials to bar unauthorised people loitering in medical college hospitals from tomorrow.

Asking to ensure issuance of entry passes only to one relative of a patient, Das directed to put a bar on the movement of unauthorised people in the hospital premises as it posed difficulties to both doctors and patients, an official release said here.

He also asked Principal Secretary (Health) K Vidyasakar to strengthen mechanism in all the medical college hospitals in the state and bring out an advertisement for recruitment of retired officials from the services for the post of director.
 

He stressed upon maintaining discipline in hospitals and asked Additional Director General of Police K N Choubey to assess security situation at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences.
