"Westworld" star Evan Rachel Wood has travelled to Texas to extend help to the families that have been separated at the US-Mexico border.
The 30-year-old actor took to Instagram where she revealed that she was distressed by some of the stories she heard about the situation at the border that she decided to go on a tour to the state to offer help.
"Ever since I heard about everything happening in our country and the separation policy, I've been wondering what I can do.
"So I've flown to Texas and am going to be on the front lines for the next few days to find out what I can do to help - what we can do to help," Wood said in a video she shared.
She also took to Twitter to keep people apprised about the situation in the state.

Wood later said she would be "fasting for 24 hours with the #breakbreadnotfamilies hunger strike, starting now. (sic)"
