Excise sleuths destroy illicit liquor in J-K

Around 1000 litres of illicit liquor from various parts of Kathua district have been destroyed by Excise department sleuths.

A spokesman of the excise department said that raids were conducted yesterday in various parts of the district in which 970 litres of illicit liquor was recovered.

He said that the liquor was destroyed on the spot.
