Fake currency seized, one arrested

Police today seized fake currencies worth Rs ten thousand with the arrest of one person at Kookra village here, an official said today.

Police arrested Maksood while he was preparing to supply fake currencies worth Rs 10,000, he said.

Further interrogations revealed that he used to supply fake currencies brought from West Bengal as a commission agent in nearby areas, police said.
