An FIR was today registered against superintendent of district Education department here for allegedly sending vulgar text messages and sexually harassing a woman officer of the department.
According to Hawa Singh, APRO of Gurgaon police, an FIR in this connection has been registered in women police station on the basis of the complaint of the victim against Dinesh Goyal.
The woman officer in her complaint alleged that she was pressurized by Goyal to establish physical relation with him the last several months, Singh said.
"He used to intentionally visit my office and always tried to harass her sexually. He had also sent a couple of SMS to me for establishing physical relation in the month of July and August last year," Singh said quoting the complaint of the woman officer.
We are verifying the claim of victim and will take action against the Superintendent after examining the matter, Singh added.
