The police here today arrested four chain-snatchers and seized 240 grams of gold jewellery and three motor-bikes.
The arrested persons were identified as Vasupalli China (22), Nemali Manikanta (23), Sunkara Satish (21) and Dundi Prem Kumar (21), all locals.
DCP T Ravi Kumar Murthy said they were involved in 13 chain snatching cases under various police stations limits in the city and also under Anakapalle police station in the district.
They targeted women morning walkers and temple visitors.
A team of Maharanipeta police station, led by sub-inspector G Gopala Rao, nabbed the gang.
