Four killed in coal mine explosion in China

Four persons were killed and four others injured in a coal mine gas explosion in southwest China's Yunnan Province today.

The explosion took place at the coal mine in Linfeng Township of Weixin County, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

Four persons were killed and four others injured in the blast, local authorities said.

An investigation into the cause of the explosion is under way.
