Four killed, three injured as speeding truck hits them

Four persons were killed and three injured when a speeding truck hit them in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district today, police said.

The driver of the speeding truck lost control over the vehicle in Usti area of the district, they said.

The truck first hit some people waiting in the bus stand and then crashed into the cow shed of a house.

The injured have been rushed to hospital, police said, adding one of the injured was in serious serious.
