The separatist camp, spearheading the ongoing agitation in Kashmir Valley, today announced first full-day relaxation in the latest protest calender for the upcoming week even as it asked the people to "exclusively" use public transport while travelling to compensate the losses suffered by transporters.

They also announced 15-hour relaxation in the strike beginning 4 PM today and on Thursday but called for complete shutdown on Friday, Monday and Tuesday.

"There will be full day relaxation on November 19 and 20. People are requested to exclusively use public transport on these days for the support of transport community," the camp, comprising both factions of Hurriyat Conference and JKLF, said in a statement here.

This is for the first time that separatists had announced full-day relaxation during the ongoing unrest which began after the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani in an encounter with security forces on July 8.

The full-day relaxation comes days after private passenger vehicles plied on some routes in Srinagar after being severely hit by the four-month long strike.
