Futile attempt to break open ATM

A futile attempt has been made to break open an ATM chest of Canara Bank with stone in Saravanamatti here, police said.

A customer, who came to withdraw cash early today, noticed that ATM machine was damaged and a stone placed on it, police said.

Experts have collected finger prints available there and police are watching the CCTV footage at the ATM Centre, There was no night watchman at the centre, police said.
