Gangster Devendra Jagtap acquitted in murder case

The Mumbai sessions court today acquitted gangster Devendra Jagtap alias 'JD' in a nine years old murder case.
Jagtap is also an accused in the advocate Shahid Azmi murder case; recently he was booked for firing at the extradited gangster Abu Salem at Taloja jail near here.
"JD was acquitted as the prosecution could not bring any evidence other than the deceased man's dying declaration," said his lawyer, advocate Sameer Pradhan.
