Head Constable, grocery merchant die in 2 accidents

: A head constable died on the spot when the motorcyle he was riding collided with a tempo near Vellode this morning, police said.

The 42-year-old man was proceeding from his house at Kanagapuram to Arachalure when the mishap occurred.

In another mishap, a grocery merchant was killed in Perundurai area when his bike collided with an unidentified vehicle, which sped away after the incident, police said.
