Heavy rain alert for Uttarakhand

The Met department today issued a heavy rain alert for more than six districts of Uttarakhand for tomorrow.

Heavy rain may occur at isolated places in Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri, Tehri, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts of Uttarakhand over the next 12 hours, the MeT department said.

It also forecast a generally cloudy sky and light to moderate rains at many places in the state.
