HP to spent Rs 2,000 cr in irrigation, drinking water schemes

This was announced today by Chief Minister P K Dhumal at a public meeting in Darlaghat at Solan district after laying the foundation stone of Rs 29 crore drinking water supply project there.

He said the project would benefit over 40,000 people in the area.
