Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Ltd (IL&FS) posted a 37.90 per cent drop in net profit at Rs 173.42 crore for the half year ended September 30, 2015.
The company's net profit stood at Rs 279.26 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, IL&FS said in a BSE filing.
According to the statement, the company's total income increased from Rs 779.79 crore in the half year ended September 30, 2014 to Rs 859.24 crore in the same period this fiscal.
The company's interest income rose to Rs 763.15 crore in the period compared to Rs 499.02 crore in the same period last fiscal.
