India hands over 17 Pakistani prisoners to Pak Rangers

Indian authorities today handed over 17 Pakistani prisoners, including fishermen, to the Pakistan Rangers at the Wagah land border crossing.
Pakistan Rangers officials said 14 fishermen and three other prisoners had been handed over by the Indian side.
"We will allow these men to go home after verifying their credentials," Pakistan Rangers spokesman Mahboob Hussain said.
He said three of the men had been arrested after they crossed over to the Indian side by mistake.
