Jammu and Kashmir government is geared up to improve the infrastructure of all educational institutions across the state.

"The government is making efforts to make infrastructural facilities available at all institutions," Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture, Raman Bhalla said after dedicating a newly constructed school building to the students here.

The Centre is providing adequate funds to the state for further improvement in education standards and the state government plans to open new schools in every locality, so that no child is deprived of education, he said.

Bhalla urged teachers to impart quality education to the students and stressed upon inculcating moral values among them.

He also directed them to increase students enrolment, so that the institution can be upgraded under the Rashtriya Madayamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RAMSA).
