Jennifer Love Hewitt is pregnant with her first child

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has confirmed that she is expecting her first child with actor boyfriend Brian Hallisay.

The actress announced the happy news on Tuesday, reported Us magazine.

"We're so thrilled and happy to start a family," said Hewitt and Hallisay in a statement.

The couple have been dating for just over a year after growing close on their show 'The Client List' and previously starred together in 'Love Bites'.

The pair are not yet married but Hewitt has spoken about her plans if Hallisay does ever get down on one knee.

In an interview, she admitted she has already shortlisted and picked out three engagement rings for when the moment comes.
 

The actress has previously spoken of her wish to have children.

"I would love to have babies... One day. I'm obsessed with babies," she had said.
