Buoyed by Karnataka assembly poll verdict, Congress today said it is an indication of the shape of things to come in Lok Sabha elections and debunked comparisons between Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi as "illogical".
"This is the victory of Congress' policies. This is the respect for the heritage of Congress. This is a support to the present Congress and an indication of India's political future," party general secretary Janardan Dwivedi said.
To a question about the comparison between Modi, who had campaigned in Karnataka polls and Rahul, he said "comparison of Rahul with Modi was senseless, meaningless and illogical earlier also and so it is today and will remain so in future".
