Karuna praises Sachin for his humility

Patting cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, DMK chief Karunanidhi today said he was reading with avid interest the sport icon's autobiography "Playing it my way" and praised him for his humility.

"Despite his many achievements in cricket, he is a picture of poise, unassuming and fields questions with humility. It would be no exaggeration to say that such qualitites were among reasons that brought him huge fame," Karunanidhi said in a post on Facebook here today.

"I am reading with interest his autobiography. I always hold him in esteem..... My love for him", the 90-year old leader said.

A lover of cricket, he has witnessed cricket matches despite being a busy political leader.
