Kerala Tourism's international photography contest, billed as the 'biggest' such event in Asia, has drawn enthusiastic response with more than 4,400 participants so far.
The contest on the theme 'Kerala' closes on December 31. It has attracted 4,432 shutterbugs from nearly 40 countries.
"Photographers internationally have responded enthusiastically and with a creative and unique vision, to the contest, which showcases the beauty of Kerala," Tourism Minister A P Anil Kumar said here today.

The contest, organised by the Kerala Tourism website www.Keralatourism.Org, offers Rs 5 lakh as the top prize. The second and third prizes are Rs 3 lakh and Rs 2 lakh respectively, with five consolation prizes of Rs 1 lakh each, a Kerala Tourism release said here.
Visitors to the tourism website can rate the competition entries, the release added.
