Kings XI Punjab today announced the 'Shot4Life' campaign in order to mark the World Immunization week from April 24-30.
KXIP will spread awareness regarding immunization, which is one of the world's most powerful tools to protect children against preventable diseases.
The Punjab outfit will spread awareness regarding immunization through an extensive digital campaign 'Shot4Life' for the duration of the week and the team players, support staff and management will wear special red "shot4life" wristbands during their matches against Chennai Super Kings and Sunrises Hyderabad on April 25 and April 27, respectively.
The campaign is designed to raise awareness on the need for immunization in order to prevent children from diseases, KXIP release said.
To drive the message further, "shot4life" wristbands will also be distributed to fans before home matches at PCA Stadium, Mohali, and at various locations throughout Chandigarh.
