Kremlin slams new US sanctions as 'outrageous'

The Kremlin today slammed the latest US sanctions targeting President Vladimir Putin's oligarch allies and their companies as well as senior officials as illegal.

"This is an outrageous business from the point of view of illegality, from the point of view of flouting all the norms, and of course careful analysis is needed here," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists.
