Pop sensation Lady Gaga is reportedly being sued for thousand of dollars after cancelling a concert in Indonesia.

The 'Born This Way' hitmaker is facing legal action from show promoters who want their 50,000 pounds losses reimbursed, reported Sun online.

Gaga, 26, pulled out of the Jakarta show on June 3 after fundamentalist protesters threatened to intercept her arrival in the country.

The US star was accused of spreading "satanic teaching" by Islamic hardliners.

Show promoters in Indonesia have filed a lawsuit in the California federal court against the star's insurers, Lloyds of London.

They claim the firm failed to make good on a policy covering losses for cancelled gigs.
