Delhi witnessed scattered rain in parts of the city this morning, thus bringing down the minimum temperature to 16.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal.
Light mist in the air and a shallow fog was also experienced this morning, a MeT department official said.
Areas including the Ridge, Safadarjung, Palam and Lodhi Road received a total of 1.0 mm rain, he said.

The weatherman has forecast the day to be partly cloudy with maximum temperature expected to settle around 29 degrees Celsius.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum settled at around 19.7 degrees.
