A lioness has given birth to three healthy cubs at Jaipur's Biological Park yesterday, a first in three decades.
"The lioness and cubs are healthy, but as a precautionary measure they will be kept away from the reach of the zoo visitors," veterinary officer of Jaipur Zoo, Arvind Mathur said.
Nearly a year-and-half-ago, the lioness 'Tejika' and lion 'Siddharta' were brought to Jaipur zoo from Junagarh, Gujarat, who gave birth to the cubs.
