Realty firm Lotus Greens Developers today said it has contributed Rs 21 lakh to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund for flood-hit Jammu & Kashmir.

The company yesterday presented a cheque of Rs 21 lakh to senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi for donating to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund to help victims in the flood ravaged state, Lotus Greens said in a statement.

"At this time of crisis it is the duty of every Indian to lend help and support to the flood-affected people of Jammu and Kashmir. We are extending our help by donating a small amount to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund," Lotus Greens Vice Chairman P Sahel said.

The recent flood in J&K is said to be the worst in 109 years.

Lotus Greens, which was founded last year by Nirmal Singh, one of the promoters of another realty firm The 3C, has acquired 925 acres in Delhi-NCR for real estate projects.
