In a major reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 23 IAS and 42 IPS officers, including divisional commissioners, district magistrates, SSPs and SPs of several districts.
"The government has transferred 23 IAS and 42 IPS officers, including divisional commissioners, district magistrates, ADG, IGs, SSPs and SPs," an official spokesman said here late tonight.
Among the IAS officers, Secretary (Irrigation) M P Agarwal has been posted as Divisional Commissioner of Saharanpur, while Member (Judicial) UP Revenue Board Shyam Narain Tripathi has been made CEO of Kashi Vishwanath temple.

Special Secretary (Horticulture) Rajiv Rautela has been posted as District Magistrate (DM) of Fatehpur. DM Sultanpur Aditi Singh has been appointed as the Additional Managing Director of UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC).
Special Secretary (Dairy Development) S Rajalingam has been posted as DM Sultanpur.
CEO Greater Noida Rama Raman has been relieved of the post, but would continue to hold the charge of NOIDA and Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.
Secretary (Higher Education) Anil Garg has been appointed as CEO, Greater Noida.
While Special Secretary (APC branch) Sharad Kumar Singh has been appointed as DM Ballia, Commissioner Chitrakoot Kalpana Awasthi and DM Allahabad Kaushal Raj Sharma have been put on the waitlist. DM Sonbhadra Sanjay Kumar has been shifted to Allahabad.
Additional Director-General (ADG) Housing Brij Raj has been transferred to Meerut's Police Training School, whereas IG Gorakhpur zone Amitabh Yash has been shifted to technical services in the same capacity. Yash would be replaced by IG Technical Services P C Meena.
IG Public Grievance Mutha Ashok Jain has been transferred to vigilance establishment and IG Telecom Pramod Kumar Mishra has been shifted to police welfare.
IG women cell Navneet Sikera has been given additional charge of public grievances. Commandant 8th PAC Vijay Yadav has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Mau.
Aparna Kumar, who was on the wait list, has been posted as Commandant 10 PAC. SP (Sultanpur) Sonia Singh has been shifted to Intelligence Department, Lucknow.
