Man commits suicide finding his name in corruption case

A gram Pancho member allegedly committed suicide after finding his name in a corruption case at Puranigudam, police officials said today.

Gram Rojgar Sebak Pranab Boruah committed suicide yesterday after his name was found in a corruption case of the Puranigudam panchayat, they said.

Police recovered a six-page suicide note where Boruah said that he had taken the extreme step as he and another person were forced to implement some unlawful orders of a Zila Parishad member.

Both the persons, named in the suicide note, were arrested.
