Man electrocuted in temple in Punjab

A 32-year-old man died after he came into contact with live wires here today, police said.

The incident took place this afternoon when Rakesh Kumar was performing 'sewa' at a local temple here, they said.

Rakesh was electrocuted when an iron pipe he was holding came into contact with overhead power lines, they said, adding that he died on the spot.
