An elderly man was today arrested after he allegedly tried to rape his daughter-in-law in Andhra Pradesh's Nellore district, police said.
The accused, aged around 65, attempted to rape his 30-year-old daughter-in-law at their home in Gudur town of the district last night, they said.
Based on a complaint by the woman, a case was registered against Rao and he was subsequently arrested, Gudur sub-inspector Hanif said.
