A 28-year-old man was killed after he fell off the window of the car in which he was travelling after it hit another vehicle on the Bandra Worli Sea Link (BSWL) early today, police said.
Four others also sustained injuries in the accident, they said.
"The accident took place at around 1 am when a speeding Sumo rammed into an i-20 car from the back side near pole number 80 of the sea link," said Vinayak Kulkarni, senior inspector of Worli police station.

24-year-old Sandeep Nagvekar was driving Sumo and his friend Ankit Phondke (28) was sitting besides him. The impact of the hit was such that Phondke was thrown out of the vehicle. He hit his head on the metal railing of the Sea Link and died on the spot, he said.
"The accident took place at the Worli end of the sea link when both the vehicles were south-bound. The Sumo turned turtle and rolled over a couple of times before coming to a halt," Kulkarni added.
Those in the i-20 also suffered injuries, said police adding that the victims are identified as Vilas Navale (23), Nikhil Dhotre (22), Bhaven Patel (23) and Ankit Pednekar (24), police said.
Nagvekar was arrested by police and booked for rash driving.
Meanwhile, a traffic constable while inspecting the accident site got injured after he was hit by a speeding car, police.
"Constable Sanjay More, who was present at the site to help avoid traffic jam due to the accident, was hit by a car while doing panchanama (inspection)," police said.
More (35), who is attached to Bandra traffic division, was managing the traffic movement when a speeding Lancer hit him.
"Driver Dheeraj Sansare (22) was arrested and booked for rash driving," police said, adding that the owner of the vehicle is yet to be traced.
Police have submitted the blood samples of both the drivers and are waiting for the medical reports to ascertain whether the accused were in inebriated condition, said police.
