Man seeks cops' intervention to help tipsy wife give up habit

In an unusual case, a farmer has sought police intervention to counsel and help his wife, an alcoholic, give up her addiction to liquor.
In his representation to police, the farmer of Kodangipatti village in the district said he had married his own sister's daughter.
"But now I am struggling to cope with her as she drinks daily and quarrels. I am not able to mend or counsel her and rescue her from the habit," he said.
