A militant hideout was today busted by security forces and arms and ammunition were seized in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint operation was launched by the policeand CRPF in Kalaban forest area of the district, a police officer said.
During the search operation, one AK 47 rifle with two magazines and 52 rounds, 20 round of PIKA gun, three Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) grenades were seized from their possession, the officer said, adding, a case has been registered in connection to the matter.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president G A Mir has demanded a judicial probe into the killing, saying the deceased was Sajjad Ahmad Malik - an ex-sarpanch belonging to the party.
Malik was a young and honest, but poor man. He was an ex- sarpanch who was elected constitutionally and served the people for five years.
He was accused by the state of participating in a protest rally (during the unrest), which may be true and for which there is the law of the land to deal with it, he said.
"According to the law of the land, he was taken into custody but was out on bail. Still, since the last one month, police was delaying his release saying the ruling party (PDP) wanted him in custody. Finally today, police released him and sent a police man to drop him home," Mir told
