Minister hospitalised following giddiness during procession

Welfare Minister M Kandasamy was admitted to JIPMER hospital here today after he complained of giddiness while participating in a Congress procession to celebrate the victory of Chief Minister V Narayanasamy in the by poll in Nellithope today.

Sources at the premier health institute told PTI that his condition was normal and he would be discharged tomorrow.

Workers of ruling Congress had taken out a rally in the town to celebrate the victory of Narayanasamy, in which all Ministers and party legislators participated.

Kandasamy became exhausted and complained of giddiness, following which he was rushed to JIPMER.
