Missing man found dead hanging after 20 days

A farmer, who was reported missing for the last 20 days, was found dead hanging today in a forest area near Pollachi in the district.

On information about the suicide, police rushed to Azhiyar forest area and recovered the body, police said.

The deceased was identified as 65-year old Kanagaraj, a resident of Kottur, some 30 Kms from here, who had left home on October 24, police said.
