MLA holds dharna seeking drinking water to his constituency

Demanding immediate supply of drinking water to areas in his constituency, Singanallur MLA N Karthick (DMK) along with his party workers and others held a dharna in front of the Corporation office here.

He blamed the city corporation for neglecting the constituency despite comfortable water position.

Though he personally appealed to the Commissioner and officials for releasing water on war footing, no action was taken, he alleged.

All of them were later arrested, police said.
