Monsoon rains may come back tomorrow: MeT

"Partly cloudy sky. Thundery development/light rain may occur tomorrow," the official said, adding that the city, however, did not receive any rain from 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM today.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 28 deg C, one degree above normal, while the maximum was recorded at 37 deg C, one degree above normal, he said.

The humidity today oscillated between 48and 82 per cent.

Tomorrow, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be at 37 and 27 degree Celsius, the official said.

The capital has been receiving monsoon rains for past few days.

Monsoon hit the capital July 6, after missing the normal onset date of June 29. Last year, monsoon reached the city on June 26.
