Monsoon session of MP assembly from Monday

The opposition Congress plans to target the ruling BJP over the recent Income Tax raids at the premises of two businessmen, Dilip Suryavanshi and Sudhir Sharma, who are considered to be close to the BJP.

The raids had led to a hue and cry but Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has so far maintained silence on the issue.

An official spokesman had said that there was no need for Chouhan to comment on the raids as the income tax department had not sent any communication about it to the state government.
