Mother kills two kids in Pak

A mother killed her two children in northwest Pakistan today, prompting the police to arrest her.

The incident took place in Karbogha Sharif in Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, police said.

The deceased included a two and a half year old boy and an eighteen-month old girl, they said.

She was arrested by the local police after a brief chase, police added.

The reason behind the killing could not be ascertained.
