Mount Abu freezes in Rajasthan
The state sole hill station recording the lowest temperature in the state at zero degree Celsius

Biting cold conditions prevailed in parts of Rajasthan with sole hill station Mount Abu recording the lowest temperature in the state at zero degree Celsius.
In plains Churu at 1.4 degree Celsius was the coldest.
Sriganganagar, Dabok, Pilani, Jaipur and Bikaner recorded minimum of 3.5, 4, 4.7, 5 and 6.5 degree Celsius respectively whereas Jaisalmer, Ajmer, Kota and Barmer registered night temperature of 7.2, 8, 8.9 and 9. 5 degrees respectively, a MeT official said here today.
Meanwhile, dense fog conditions affected movement of trains under North Western Railway.
Ten trains were running late up to maximum 4 hours 30 minutes due to fog in Northern region, NWR spokesperson said.
