MP monsoon session adjourned sine die

The monsoon session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly was adjourned sine die on Wednesday, two days ahead of its scheduled conclusion.
Speaker NP Prajapati adjourned the House sine-die soon after conducting the division of votes on the Criminal Law (Madhya Pradesh Amendment) Bill, 2019, during which two MLAs of opposition BJP--Narayan Tripathi and Sharad Kol--voted in favour of the Congress government.
The House had transacted all the listed business in the day.
During the session, which began on July 8, the state Budget for Financial Year 2019-20 was passed.
