A three member committee has been formulated by Punjab government to ensure immediate and timely implementation of 'Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra Scheme' and state Transport Department has been designated as the nodal department.
Through 'Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra Scheme', the state government will provide free pilgrimage facility to the people for Sri Nanded Sahib, Varanasi, Ajmer Shriff and Katra.
Disclosing this here, a official spokesman today said that a three member committee constituting of Transport Minister, Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister and Education Minister, has been formulated.
He said that for proper implementation of the scheme administrative Secretaries of the concerned departments have been directed to extend their full support to this committee.
