Seeking to shore up defence ties, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R K Dhowan arrived here today on a bilateral visit.
Admiral Dhowan will call on Singapore Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen, Chief of Defence Forces, Lt-Gen Ng Chee Meng, and Chief of the Navy, Rear-Admiral Lai Chung Han tomorrow.
He will also visit Singaporean naval and defence facilities including the Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute during the visit.
After Singapore, Admiral Dhowan will be making a two-day bilateral visit to Thailand.
